For more than 50 years, La Solitaire du Figaro brings together the best sailors in the world on monotype boats. For the second year in a row, the race is dropping anchor in the Loire-Atlantique department: Saint-Nazaire will therefore, as last year, be the port of arrival of the 53rd edition. A grand finale with a fanfare that will benefit the dynamism of the maritime city and will radiate throughout the French administrative department... until 2026! Placed under the sign of an unprecedented partnership, this maritime event extends throughout the territory.
SMARTAPPART is in the race!
The hotel residence nestled in the city center of the city of Saint-Nazaire is ideally placed to welcome and offer partner accommodation offers to skippers. Mainly operating in the far West, the group will be present alongside the other official suppliers on the stands of the race village to welcome the skippers and the public.
Three legs
1980 miles and a beautiful half-coastal, half-offshore competition to enjoy! From August 21 to 25, the skippers will leave Nantes to head for Finistère. On the way, they will travel 644 nautical miles, passing through the southwestern tip of England. From August 28 to September 1, they will set sail for Royan via the British coast before reaching the mouth of the Gironde river. Finally will come the third leg between Royan and Saint Nazaire while making a large detour through La Coruña in Galicia.

The countdown has begun! Suspense is guaranteed until the final denouement of this Solitaire du Figaro 2022, in Saint-Nazaire where the festivities will take place from September 7 to 11.
