The pioneering company in the development and integration of solutions for the electric propulsion of boats, Naviwatt expands its production capacities by anchoring its workshops in Arzon.
A 400 m2 (4300 sq. ft.) hangar and 60m2 (645 sq. ft) offices are added to the previous 100 m2 (1080 sq. ft.) premises located in the Redo area in Arzon (56). Rented to the Company of the ports of Morbihan, this new surface will increase production capacities and improve accessibility to maneuver larger boats.
The French reference for electric propulsion
With a turnover reaching 1.2 million euros in 2022, the founding president of Naviwatt, Yannick Wileveau can look forward to the growth of his activity and the dynamism of the sector. For 13 years, he has developed a renowned know-how in terms of electric propulsion. His expertise encompasses naval architecture, design office and shipyard. Naviwatt can respond to a wide variety of projects from 1 to 90 tons ranging from small tourist units to passenger ships, barges, sailboats and catamarans.
An eco-responsible company
The Naviwatt company works to minimize environmental impact by using recycled materials. The boat hulls are 100% recyclable and the propulsions do not release any toxic products. In addition, gaseous and noise emissions on the water are also reduced. The twelve employees are very aware of environmental issues and their innovative projects meet the new environmental requirements.
A know-how of excellence
Awarded in 2017 by the French electric boat association (AFBE) (translation) for its electric boat concept, Naviwatt is under full sail! The new orders are raining down: electric refit of a 13-meter (140 ft) and 10-ton monohull from the port of L'Arsenal. The latest one, the BeePro 490, which combines the comfort of electric propulsion and the robustness of aluminum has found its home port in La Rochelle.
The new workshop will now be able to accommodate XXL projects without causing in situ travel for employees: it's a win/win.
