Becoming a must-have for industrial SMEs in Europe
The OrderWise product line allows the Forterro Group to acquire nearly 21 million euros (18 million pounds sterling) in revenue and nearly 1,000 customers. OrderWise's specialized and highly integrated software offering in finance, order management, point of sale (POS), warehouse management (WMS), transport management (TMS) and e-commerce is used by nearly 1,000 customers in the United Kingdom.

Hand-over
Forterro has 300 employees on French territory. The takeover of OrderWise will take it to the next level. David Hallam, the founder of Wise Software is retiring and leaving his management team to continue with Forterro the next phase of development of OrderWise. "As we approach another year of double-digit revenue growth and as we finalize the development of our full web version, OrderWise is in an ideal position for a new owner," he says. This acquisition completes the recent acquisitions made by Forterro in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Poland. The Caen-based company aims to triple the size of the group in five years, thanks to organic and external growth. It also wishes to strengthen its presence in other European countries where it is less active.
