With more than €50 million in turnover and a 53.2% increase in growth over three years, the Grand Large Yachting group is the new challenger of the French nautical industry.
Grand Large Yachting has the wind in its sails. Its two complementary activities are the construction of pleasure boats intended for individuals who have a dream of a big cruise and that of boats intended for professional activities (passenger transport, rescue, service boats, maritime works, diving, etc.). The fast-growing company has been received multiple awards since its creation in 2003.
"Growth Champion"
The newspaper Les Échos has published the results of a multisectoral survey dedicated to high-growth companies in France. Its objective is to compile a list of the 500 companies that have had the highest rate of growth in their turnover over the period 2017-2020. The company has been on the list for five years. In 2020, its turnover of € 53.3m (against 33.5 in 2017) raises it to the 411th place on the list! This success embodied by its intuitive and innovative creator demonstrates a continuous industrial development that benefits employment in the territories where the group companies are located. The company's workforce has almost doubled!
The Oscar of Yachting
The boats of Grand Large Yachting are regularly awarded prizes. Often considered as the "Oscar of the sailing world", the European Yacht Of The Year is an important and influential distinction related to shipbuilding. The winners of this award initiated in 2004 by the German sailing magazine Yacht are chosen by a jury representing the twelve main European magazines, first of which Voiles et Voiliers (France), but also Yacht (Germany), Yachting World (United Kingdom), or Vela e Motore (Italy).
The 2022 edition distinguished the Outremer 55 as European boat of the year in the "Bluewater Cruiser" category (long-distance sailing yacht).
