This 23rd giant built by the Chantiers de l'Atlantique for the American cruise line confirms the excellence of the French naval sector.
Laurent Castaing, General Manager of Chantiers de l'Atlantique can be proud of his new catch! A very large steel fish weighing 1.2 billion euros has swum into the nets of Chantiers de l'Atlantique whose expertise is recognized worldwide. 362 meters (1187 ft.) long and 66 meters (216 ft.) wide, it will be able to accommodate 6700 passengers in its 2857 luxury cabins. A sophisticated ship, kin to Harmony of the Sea and Symphony of the Sea, which will play the score of excellence without any wrong notes.
35 years of strong collaboration
Between Royal Caribbean and Chantiers de l'Atlantique, the level of trust guarantees smooth sailing. A first order in 1985 that opened the cruise-liner ball, and now the new giant will be the 23rd boat built and probably one of the largest ships in the world. An armada of services and technologies lets us forget the tonnage of the titan and its XXL footprint.
Cruises with high added value
The small floating city will use its considerable prowess to seduce a demanding public, to create varied ambiances and new attractions. Swimming pools and climbing walls, a basketball court, water features and an exhilarating zipline, everything is planned to make the crossing unforgettable. Entertainment and enchantment rhyme with innovative architecture which stretches the limits of possibility.
Towards responsible leisure
We have come a long way since the transatlantic liners! As these monsters are energy-hungry, the manufacturer promises to improve energy consumption and reduce its environmental impact. Let the cruise glide across the ocean... without harming the health of the planet. Delivery expected in autumn of 2023.
